Digitization strategies for small and medium-sized enterprises
This special workshop series aims to prepare employees of small and medium-sized enterprises for the challenges of digitization. These “Digital Scouts” shall be able to trigger digitization processes in their companies.
The IT-Personalberatung Dr. Dienst & Wenzel GmbH & Co.KG is an important partner for its clients on the road to digital transformation and when it comes to attracting the required IT specialists. This is why the IT-Personalberatung supports this workshop series with its consultant Sonja Groell-Archut.
Small and medium-sized enterprises often lack a clear notion of the impact the digitization of the workplace will have on them. In addition, they often lack the time and money to properly tackle digitization. However, there won‘t be a future without the digital world, without software, and without artificial intelligence. Now is the time for companies to decide whether they “want to have a future“.
The approach to this workshop series is not set in stone, but will be determined by the participants and the digitization experts in the course of the first event. This ensures that the topics address the participants‘ current challenges and that they gain maximum benefit from the workshops.
The fixed topics include e.g. process modelling and Change 4.0. Other workshops may cover legal questions or data visualization, depending on the requests of the future Digital Scouts.
The workshop series is designed as a cooperative project of the SME 4.0 Competence Center Siegen, the Oberhausen Economic and Tourism Development Agency, the Oberhausen branch of the Federal Employment Agency, the Chamber of Industry and Commerce Essen, the Ruhr University Bochum and the Fraunhofer Institute for Environmental, Safety and Energy Technology.
The participation is free of charge, but the number of participants is limited.
